Classics Attract at Hilltop

A surprising duo sponsored an uncommon combination when the Friends of the Farm at Hilltop and Compound Lodge 28 of the Masons got together for a July 24 convocation of classic cars and classic motorcycles and collected an entrance fee from both the vehicle owners and the interested public. The plan worked well, for over 80 great cars arrived, along with about 30 motorcycles, and a good many admiring visitors came just to see the show. The nice Saturday weather helped. Vehicles and spectators were still arriving when this reporter had to leave soon after noon.

The key to the host combination was that Howie Orr is the president of FOFAH as well as an officer of the Masonic Lodge in Suffield. Congratulations Howie!
