Volunteer officers of the Suffield Fire Department assemble for a portrait on February 23 before Town Clerk Kathy Dunai swore them in to their new or continuing positions. A gathering of family and friends attended the ceremony, held in the Ratley Road fire station on February 23, long delayed by COVID-19. From the left: Capt. John Guzie, Eng. Justin Segar, Eng. Steve Domin, Capt. Lew Cannon, Lt. Mike Nicora, Capt. Ron Carlson, who is also a Dep. Fire Marshal, Lt. Tom McCabe, and Capt. John Shelanskas. The department is governed also by two paid officers and one volunteer deputy chief. There are over 30 volunteer firefighters.
