The Sibbil Dwight Kent Chapter of the Daughters of The American Revolution (DAR) held its Good Citizen Award presentation on May 22 at a reception in the Summer House at The Phelps-Hatheway House on South Main Street. The Good Citizen Award encourages and rewards the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in a high school senior. For 2022 we took great pride in honoring the Suffield High School recipient Gretchen Gustafson and the Windsor Locks High School recipient Nicole DiPoppo.
