Charlotte Boone (holding the Observer) and her brother Marshall enjoyed a new adventure on their annual trip to Lake Placid, in New York: Ziplining! And to their surprise, they found that their fun and knowledgeable guide was Lilly Beeman (behind Charlotte), daughter of Suffield Community Aid’s always helpful Pat Beeman.
Janet and Steve Tluchak took the Observer along in June when they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in Big Sky, Montana, close to ski slopes on Lone Mountain (behind the sign, 11,167 ft.). There are plenty of hotels and resorts nearby in Mountain Village.
Mary Anne Fuller is pictured in Bristol, R.I. with The Suffield Observer for the 237th 4th of July parade there. Bristol held the country’s first such celebration.
Rob Nye and Chase Wessling took the Observer to the Denali Highway in Alaska.
Deedee, left, and Mandy Presser are showing that they have something to read as they wait in center court for the arena to fill up for the Wimbledon tennis finals in London in July.
Karen Jason relaxes against a signpost in July, well garbed for her distant location. The sign says “Arctic Circle,” and its point probably indicates “East,” as Karen is probably looking toward the sun for the photo.
