Mark your calendars and reserve the day for Christmas in Suffield, Saturday, November 5. Locations all across Suffield will be hosting vendors and events of all kinds as part of this fun-filled day. First Church will be hosting multiple craft vendors as well as our Attic Treasures thrift shop, Eddie’s Country Kitchen, and a bake sale. 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.; maps available for all the locations participating.

Please note that our church office will be closed November 3-7.

Sunday November 13 is our Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging Event. We have been raising money, and continue to do so, to support this Meal Packaging event in our Fellowship Hall, directly after worship. Rise Against Hunger is growing a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives and responding to emergencies.

Sunday November 20 is Thanksgiving Sunday. First Church will host the Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at 4:00 p.m. All are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate in this special service.

Please note the church office is closed on Thanksgiving.

Advent begins on November 27. We will have our Advent Wreath Making workshop after church that Sunday. Join us and create your own Advent wreath for the Christmas season. Contact the office to sign up.

Our Blessing Box is located right in front of First Church on High Street and is open to our neighbors and community members to “take what you need; leave what you can”. We encourage our community to donate what they can to the Blessing Box.

Church in-office hours are Tuesdays-Fridays 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Questions, general inquiries or any needs should be directed to office@fcsuffield.org outside of Office hours, or by leaving a message at 860-668-7223. Pastoral needs can be sent to senior@fcsuffield.org, or by leaving a voicemail with Rev. Diann through our automated phone system.
