Visitors to the Kent Memorial Library can enjoy a touch of spring thanks to a colorful display of stately amaryllis blooms grown by the Suffield Garden Club. Club members choose and plant the bulbs in the fall so that their beauty brightens the dark months of January and February. Regular visitors to the KML can see the bulbs as they mature, bud and then flower.

Stacks of books support the beautiful array of amaryllis in various colors and stages of blooming.

The Suffield Garden Club, organized in 1934, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the beautification of Suffield. Visit www.SuffieldGardenClub.org.
