The 11-acre nonprofit Hilltop Farm – bounded to the south by 60 open space acres stretching to the Connecticut River – hosts a Maple Syrup Making Demo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 5.

On April 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. is a Straw Bale Gardening class presented by the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station and co-sponsored by The Suffield Garden Club.

“Our perennially popular Monster Tag Sale and Flea Market is on May 6th,” says spokesperson Kacy Colston. “Vendors and homeowners rent plots to sell their goods.”

Colston says the Car and Motorcycle Show on July 22 is a crowd favorite. “Even if it’s hot, we have plenty of shaded areas where the vehicles line up to show,” she notes. “And now we have our Creamery for cooling down.”

The ever-popular Car and Motorcycle Show returns to Hilltop Farm on July 22.

On August 26, Hilltop hosts its annual Bald Eagle Golf Outing fundraiser at Suffield Country Club.

Nashville recording artist Jordan Oaks returns on September 16 at 7:30 p.m. for his second benefit concert in support of the Suffield Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) Kids Ride.

“We’re planning other workshops, nature hikes and charitable events,” says Colston. “So I encourage residents to check our “Events” menu occasionally at HilltopFarmSuffield.org.”
