The Suffield Arts Council will feature the work of Suffield artist Olivia Ballinger during the month of April in the Pinney Gallery at the Kent Memorial Library.
The artist, a self-employed mother of three, will show a collection of acrylics, in a colorful display of works big and small.
While self-taught, she credits her interest in art to her mother, also an accomplished artist.
Also, a talented author and speaker, she offers classes in painting, in an effort to teach others how to express themselves through the creation of works of art.
This show opens April 3, running through the month. A “Meet the Artist” reception, open to the public, will be held on Thursday, April 13, from 6 – 8 p.m.
This display made possible through the efforts of the artist, the Suffield Arts Council, and the Kent Memorial Library staff.
