Congratulations to the Rotary Club’s Student of the Month for March, Lily Vincent!

One of Lily’s teachers, Mrs. Candia-Bovi wrote, “Lily exhibits an exceptional ability to generate creative and innovative ideas. She offers fresh perspectives and unique solutions to challenges, demonstrating a capacity for critical thinking. Lily’s ability to think outside the box and approach problems from different angles greatly enriches the learning experience for both herself and her classmates.”

Math Coach Mr. Casolari wrote, “Lily has excellent study habits, and approaches all of her studies and activities with a positive attitude, an open mind, and a true willingness and desire to learn and improve.

She is willing to step outside of her comfort zone and challenge herself, whether it is taking a high-level course like BC calculus or trying to run a faster mile. She is not afraid of failure. She is that person, who will get up over and over again and keep trying. Grit and perseverance are a part of her character.

Lily has a good sense of humor and is energetic, understanding and compassionate. She is respectful of the people around her. She is a good Team Player. Most impressive is her solid character.

In the fall, Lily is going to attend Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts and be a part of the cross-country team. She plans to major in biochemistry and molecular biology.

Congratulations to the Rotary Club’s Student of the Month for May, Paige Baillargeon!

One of Paige’s teachers, Mr. Dudeck wrote, “Paige is a conscientious, hardworking student who gets the most out of her ability. She is kind to everyone and always seems to be helping someone else out.”

English Teacher Mrs. Candia-Bovi wrote, “Paige possesses outstanding interpersonal skills and works exceptionally well with her peers. She actively engages in group discussions, respecting others’ ideas and perspectives while also contributing her own valuable insights. Paige’s ability to collaborate effectively creates a positive and inclusive environment, fostering teamwork and ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard.”

Paige plans to attend Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts and major in Information Design and Corporate Communications.

Congratulations to the Rotary Club’s Student of the Month for June, Rowan Shanahan!

According to one of Rowan’s teachers and club advisor, Mrs. McCluskey, “Rowan is the epitome of service above self and very deserving of this award. She is always willing to help out others without hesitation. She has been a positive leader in Interact Club, offering to take responsibility and provide leadership on several of the initiatives we have worked on during the past several years. As a student in class, Rowan is fabulous! She is a bright, articulate and conscientious student, and always conducts herself in a respectful and responsible manner. She has a good sense of humor and is able to find the good in others. I personally will miss her smile and enthusiasm next year, but know she will do amazing things during her college experience.”

Mrs. Candia-Bovi added, “One of Rowan’s standout characteristics is her strong work ethic. Whether completing assignments, participating in extracurricular activities, or contributing to group projects, she consistently demonstrates dedication and a genuine desire to excel. Rowan goes above and beyond expectations, always striving for excellence in her academic pursuits.”

In the fall Rowan will be going to Florida to attend the University of Tampa and be a Pre-Med major.

Congratulations Lily, Paige and Rowan on earning this honor and best wishes in college!
