The Suffield Arts Council will feature a display of work by Westfield artist Laraine Percoski in the Pinney Gallery at Suffield’s Kent Memorial Library during the month of November.
An award-winning professional artist, her work, brought to life on canvas in bold colors, may be found in private and corporate collections in New England and the east coast.
Here, the viewer will experience the wonder and emotion of impressionist renderings of scenes from all over New England.
This show opens November 1, with a “Meet the Artist” reception scheduled in the Gallery on Thursday evening, November 9, from 6 – 8 p.m, open to the public. It remains up through November.
It is made possible thanks to the joint efforts of the artist, the Suffield Arts Council, and the Kent Library staff. A portion of sales proceeds will benefit the Suffield High School Band, and Suffield Scouts.
