Garden Plots at Hilltop
In just a few weeks, on March 19, Spring will arrive. Thoughts of colorful spring blooms are already floating in my head and planning this year’s vegetable garden is taking shape.
Are you looking for a place to garden with great soil, lots of sunshine and readily available water collected by rain barrels? If so, a plot that measures roughly 18’ x 25’ that is plowed and furrowed awaits you at Hilltop Farm’s Community Garden. The garden offers the opportunity to grow your own food/flowers in a beautiful setting and enjoy the company of other gardeners. Many of our gardeners return every year, but we usually have some vacancies. In total, we have thirty plots on the eastern slope of the farm below the red barns. You can select Programs from the menu, and you will find links to the Rules and Regulations as well as Apply and Pay. The plots are available first come, first serve. If you pay for a plot, you will be notified of your plot assignment in mid-May. We hope to see some new faces at the farm this year!
