The Suffield Arts Council will host a group show of work by members of The Agawam Community Artists and Artisans (ACAA). The club, formed in 1992 by our neighbors to the north, has more than 90 members. This dynamic group is active throughout the year participating in many local shows and exhibits.

Members of all ages work in a variety of media. This show will feature more than 50 entries, in a wide range of subject matter.

The group holds monthly meetings, on the 2nd Wednesday, at the Agawam Public Library, 750 Cooper St. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. Each meeting features a demonstration by accomplished artists and is open to the public. In addition, ACAA offers educational programs in a variety of subjects.

The Suffield show opens September 3 and runs through September 30. A reception in the gallery will be held on Thursday evening, September 12, from 6 – 8 p.m. It is open to the public.

This event is made possible thanks to the efforts of the Suffield Arts Council, The Agawam Community Artists and Artisans, and the Kent Memorial Library staff.
