Local Artists and Farm Stands Collaborate

In a unique initiative that celebrates the town’s agricultural heritage and arts community, the Town of Suffield is proud to announce a new collaborative project between local artists and farm stand operators. This exciting endeavor will see the creation of custom-designed, artistically crafted signs to advertise Suffield’s beloved farm stands.

The collaboration is part of the town’s ongoing efforts to support local businesses and enhance the visibility of our agricultural assets. By pairing talented local artists with our hardworking farm stand operators, the project aims to create beautiful, functional signs that not only draw attention to the farms but also reflect Suffield’s historic charm and rural character.

The signs, which are limited to 12 square feet in size, will be designed with the town’s historic and farming aesthetic in mind. Each sign will prominently feature the farm’s name, ensuring it is easily readable from the road, while allowing artists the freedom to incorporate creative elements that reflect the unique identity of each farm. The use of natural, weather-resistant materials will ensure the signs remain a beautiful fixture in the landscape for years to come.

Local residents and visitors are encouraged to keep an eye out for these new works of art as they drive through town and to stop by the farm stands to support our local farmers.
