Director’s Notice: Due to the increasing costs of food and supplies, we will need to increase the price of lunches by $1. This change will be implemented beginning on March 4, 2025. We have held off on this increase for quite some time but can no longer sustain the cost increases. For $6 per lunch, you will still get the high-quality meals, a drink, and a dessert. If this creates a financial hardship for you, we can connect you with Suffield Community Aid to see if you are eligible for their assistance programs.
Lunch Menu – Lunches are $6 and include coffee, tea, cold beverage, and dessert. Please make your reservation by noon the day prior. Please bring your own container for leftovers.
- Tues, March 4 – Two hot dogs on rolls, vegetable and macaroni salad, chips
- Wed, March 5 – Fish sandwich with lettuce and tartar sauce, homemade vegetable soup
- Thurs, March 6 – million dollar ravioli casserole, apple, pecan, cranberry and spinach salad, roll
- Tues, March 11 – Sausage rigatoni, tossed salad, roll and butter
- Wed, March 12 – Stuffing topped pork chops, applesauce, roasted vegetables & potatoes
- Thurs, March 13 – Pineapple and teriyaki chicken foil packets, baked potato, vegetable
- Tues, March 18 – Guinness beef and lamb Irish stew, soda bread
- Wed, March 19 – Garlic butter chicken bites with creamy parmesan pasta, Waldorf salad, roll
- Thurs, March 20 – Goulash with cheesy bread and cucumber salad
- Tues, March 25 – Homemade kielbasa and potato soup, Caesar salad, roll and butter
- Wed, March 26 – French bread pizza with chicken, tomato, cheese, and white sauce, chips, carrots and celery sticks with dip
- Thurs, March 27 – Meat sauce over pasta, salad, roll and butter
Mini Bus trips – require five passengers and are weather permitting. Reservations for March trips will open on February 20. Please call (860) 668-3844 February 20 or after to make a reservation.

AARP Tax Aide – Thursdays, by Appointment
Volunteer AARP IRS-certified tax counselors will be available at the Senior Center, during the tax season, to provide free basic tax assistance and electronic tax preparation services. Please call the Senior Center, (860) 668-8830, to schedule an appointment. A separate appointment is necessary for each person needing a tax return. Please view the center newsletter or call (860) 668-8830 for the list of documents you must bring to your appointment.
