Join Us for a Community-Wide Day of Service on Saturday, May 16 at Hilltop Farm.
We invite teams, clubs, classes, groups, organizations, churches, businesses, and individuals—absolutely everyone—to participate in the Suffield Rotary Epic Day of Service! This is a fantastic opportunity for our entire community to come together, work side by side, and make a meaningful difference.
Four years ago, Suffield Rotary organized its first Day of Service at Sunrise Park, encouraging all community members to join in cleaning, repairing, and revitalizing the park. The event saw a remarkable turnout, with enthusiastic people from all walks of life making a significant positive impact. The day was filled with camaraderie and fun, as young participants learned by example, some fulfilled service requirements, and scout troops earned badges. New friendships were formed as everyone worked together, making the tasks lighter and creating a shared sense of accomplishment that uplifted our entire community.
Since that inaugural event, the Day of Service has grown into the Rotary International Epic Day of Service. Now, Rotary Clubs around the world will be working on their own projects simultaneously, and Suffield will join in with our unique contribution.
Get Involved at Hilltop Farm
We encourage scout leaders, team coaches, class advisors, and other group leaders to rally your members, sign up using the QR Code, and gather at Hilltop Farm.
This year, our main project will be painting the historic white fence. There will also be additional projects available to ensure that people of all ages and abilities can participate and make a difference in their community.
This is a family friendly event with something for all ages and abilities.
Celebrate Our Accomplishments
After the work is done, stay and enjoy a picnic as we come together to celebrate the EPIC Achievements of the Day. Experience the pride and joy that comes from making a real difference in our community and join us in recognizing the collective effort that brings us closer together. ***Lunch will be provided at noon time, not necessarily when we have completed our To Do List**
