On the day of the Suffield Art Trail, my husband and I took the time to explore the added space the Historical Society was able to occupy at Academy Hall in West Suffield. This expansion gave the Society an opportunity to display many of the town’s historic artifacts, photos and documents that had been stored at the King House Museum but could not be shown due to a lack of display space. Having a second location at Academy Hall in West Suffield is a wonderful opportunity for residents of both Suffield and West Suffield to appreciate the history of our “Town of Farms.”

I encourage everyone to take the time to visit both King House and Academy Hall. You will come away with a greater pride in our town.
