The Suffield Athletic Hall of Fame Fran Aniello Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Friday October 16, 2026.
The main purpose of the event is to raise funds for annual scholarships given to Suffield residents who are graduating student athletes at Suffield High School or Suffield Academy. Proceeds also help to defray the costs of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony that honors Suffield’s finest athletes and coaches.
The tournament serves as a tribute to Fran Aniello, a member of the Hall of Fame who passed away in 2015 after over 30 years as a basketball/golf/soccer coach and Athletic Director at Suffield High School. Fran was also on the SAHOF committee and was the primary organizer of the golf tournament the first several years it was held. It will be a 4-person scramble, 1 p.m. shotgun start at Crestview Country Club.
