The holiday season is just around the corner, and the Town of Suffield is once again encouraging residents to shop local with the return of the annual Small Business Saturday Passport Program.
Over the past several years, the Small Business Passport has become a popular holiday tradition in Suffield, bringing residents into local shops, restaurants and other participating businesses while providing a fun incentive to explore everything our business community has to offer.
The program is simple: Between the dates of November 28 and December 12 pick up a Small Business Passport by visiting participating Suffield businesses and receive a stamp when you make a qualifying purchase. Collect three stamps and submit your completed passport to any of these businesses to be entered into the annual prize drawing.
Each year, the program has continued to grow, with strong participation from both residents and local businesses. More importantly, it provides an opportunity to remind everyone just how much of an impact shopping locally can have.
When you make a purchase from a participating Suffield retailer, grab lunch or dinner at a local restaurant, or support one of our many service businesses, more of those dollars remain right here in our community. Supporting local businesses helps maintain a vibrant business community, creates jobs and contributes to the character that makes Suffield such a great place to live.
Bigger and Better Prizes for 2026!
This year, we’re making the Passport even more exciting with bigger and better prizes for our participants with multiple $100 gift card winners!
Every completed passport provides an opportunity to win, so residents are encouraged to get out, discover new businesses and revisit some of their longtime local favorites throughout the holiday shopping season.
Whether you’re shopping for gifts, meeting friends for a meal, picking up something for yourself or simply exploring a business you’ve never visited before, every stop is another opportunity to support the people who own and operate businesses right here in Suffield.
The Small Business Passport isn’t just about winning a prize. It’s about celebrating our local businesses and recognizing the important role they play in our community.
Shop local. Support Suffield. And don’t forget to get your Passport stamped!
Additional information, including participating businesses, Passport details, deadlines and prize information, will be available on the Town of Suffield website at SuffieldCT.gov.
We look forward to another successful year and hope everyone will join us in making the 2026 Small Business Passport our biggest year yet!
