The Senior Center is excited to announce that we were awarded a Community Garden Project grant from North Central District Health Department. The proceeds from the grant will be used to mulch the walkways through our garden, replenish the top soil in the raised beds, and to buy fertilizer, a hose & watering attachment, as well as lumber materials to build frames around the blueberry bushes for netting. If you are interested in volunteering in our garden this season, please let us know; we’d be glad to have you.
New exercise sessions begin in March. Stop by the Senior Center for a registration form or visit the Senior Center page on the Town’s web-site www.suffieldct.gov to download a form.
