Dear Editor,
I hear that Jackie Hemond is resigning from her position as our Library Director.
When she came to us five years ago, she ended up with a job she had not anticipated which was to run a library with very limited space. And run it she did and then some. For five years she continued to offer so many programs and opportunities to make use of that limited facility. Now we have finally opened Kent Memorial. Just think what she could have done there.
She will be hard to replace and I wish her well and some time to relax and catch up on her reading.
