I’m sure it’s safe to say we are all wishing 2021 is a better year. COVID-19 vaccines are rolling out so we are very hopeful to be opening back up sometime this year.
I thought you might like to meet the people working behind the scenes at the Senior Center and Mini Bus who have been tirelessly working to provide Grab & Go meals, delivering meals and providing transportation to doctors’ appointments and getting prescriptions. As of December 31, we prepared 14,208 Grab & Go meals since mid-March. We are averaging about 90 meals per day and delivery to 55 different residents within our community.
We miss everyone so much and looking forward to getting somewhat back to normal.

I have been the director for over 18 years and enjoy being part of this wonderful community. We have a great team of dedicated individuals working to serve the needs of our senior community.
I grew up in Suffield and still reside there with my husband, Ken. We have three beautiful and grown children and are proud grandparents of our grandson, Jack. We have two wonderful Golden Retrievers; FASBe and Iris.
I have been the assistant to the director for 11 years. I truly love my job and work with a fantastic team and a terrific community of wonderful seniors.
I grew up in Suffield and raised my two beautiful daughters in Suffield. They, along with their spouses, are raising my greatest joys; six grandchildren. I’m lucky to have them all living in town as well.
I have been with the Mini Bus for 14 years! I started working as a driver and now schedule transportation for Suffield residents. I love working with our wonderful team. It is great to meet new people, as well as see familiar faces.
I moved to the United States from Poland 29 years ago, and have been a resident of Suffield since 1996. I have been married to my husband for 30 years, and we raised a beautiful and talented daughter right her in Suffield. I love living here with my family, and being part of the community.
I have been driving the Mini Bus for almost 16 years. I not only appreciate working with our team, but am grateful to work with so many wonderful people who use our service.
I grew up in Suffield and currently live in Enfield with my husband. We have four grown children.
I am a 30+ year resident of Suffield and have worked over ten years as a Mini Bus driver. Originally from Maine, I moved to Connecticut in 1976. Along with my wife, we raised two sons in Suffield and we have one grandson. The Mini Bus has been a great job with wonderful people.
I started driving the Mini Bus in 2001 and drove until 2012 when I retired. They called me back to help one day and I’ve been driving ever since. I love my job and love, love, love the people!
I have lived in town for 38 years. I’m married to a lovely wife and we have two sons and four grandchildren. I have been working as a Mini Bus driver for over three years and enjoy taking care of our town’s residents.
I was brought up in Enfield and moved to Suffield in 1983 to raise our family of three. We now enjoy three grandchildren with one more on the way. My greatest joy is spending time with my family. I have been working as a Mini Bus driver for two years and have a strong admiration for the team and the town.
I have lived in Suffield for 15 years with my husband, son, daughter and two fat cats. I’ve been driving the Mini Bus for a year and really enjoy meeting everyone. I hope we get back to normal soon so I can meet some new faces.
I have lived in Suffield as far back as I can remember, raising our two children and working for many years at the local bank in town prior to retiring two years ago. I am enjoying being a part of our amazing Senior Center helping to prepare Grab & Go meals for our senior community.
I have lived in Suffield most of my life and raised our family in this beautiful farming community. Prior to working at the Senior Center, I’ve held various positions within the town. I enjoy serving you every day and getting to see your smiling faces.
