I met one recently while I attended a Suffield High School (SHS) graduation party for Olivianna Wells-CONGRATULATIONS!
When I walked into the kitchen, I thought it was a photo shoot for a food magazine. Every person that walked into the kitchen remarked on just how beautiful the presentation of assorted foods was and how delicious it was.

Food Presentation
The owner of the catering business is Deepa Anand, a Suffield resident. Deepa’s background was in Human Resources, but she loved to cook for friends and family. She decided to follow her dreams and in January 2026 started her business. She named her business Just Chai. It is so much more than “just chai”. Her menus include but are not limited to sandwiches, salads, hot bites, charcuterie board, Mediterranean board, desserts and specialty cakes for your celebrations. The list goes on.
Deepa has already catered for corporate business parties, birthdays, graduations and weddings. She caters for small events as well as up to 100 guests.
Deepa will work with the client on developing a menu that represents what they want for their event and loves a challenge if the client has their own vision of something she has not done before, resulting in making the event successful and memorable.
