Packard Golf Tournament Celebrates 35 Years

Suffield Rotary held its 35th Annual Glenn T. Packard Memorial Golf Tournament at Crestview Country Club on August 14. It marks the final year labeled as the Packard Tournament. Moving forward it will be named the Rotary Club of Suffield Memorial Golf Tournament.

The Tournament drew 119 golfers. It was one of the most well attended tournaments in the recent past. Friends from across the United States came in to pay homage to the Packard Family. The Packard Family and Suffield Rotary want to thank anyone who participated in this year’s tournament and to those who played in the past.

Suffield Rotary extends a huge thank you to Windsor Federal Bank, our Title Sponsor. We also want to thank our Birdie level sponsors: Peoples Bank of Holyoke, Shoreline Audiovisual and Paul and Amy Muska.

Each year of the tournament, this money has gone to projects around Suffield. The two recent projects were the Atrium redo in the Kent Memorial Library and the new Gazebo on the Green, which has been put to good use this summer.
