Native American Author’s Perspective on the American Revolution
Professor Chris Newell, Director of Native American Cultural Programs at the University of Connecticut & Co-founder of the Akomawt Educational Initiative, will discuss and read from his new book, If You Lived During the American Revolution. Copies will be available for purchase.

Sew a Holiday Ornament with The Pioneer Valley Chapter of the Embroiderer’s Guild of America Workshop. Design is a 4” round ornament worked and finished in a hoop with 1776-2006 in a star charm in red and blue on white fabric. Free! RSVP required at rsvphistory@gmail.com

Saturday, November 14 at 1 – 4 p.m. at Academy Hall – Craft a Wooden Connecticut Rose with Anne Marie Elder and Bob Ferris from Colonial Crafts. They will guide participants in carving a 5” x 5” CT Rose which is an architectural feature of the beautiful woodwork at the King House Museum. Cost is $25 per person. Eight people maximum.
