The Fall Drama Production Happy Daze will be on November 10, 11 and 12 at Suffield High School. Happy Daze takes the audience on a frank and humorous tour of a boy named JT’s world.
JT is an awkward high school student who aspires to be an athlete and find a girl who likes him. His problems begin to upset his home life and his parents exile him to his room where there is nothing but a television set. JT begins watching “nostalgia” programs, set in what seems to him a much happier time. He becomes convinced that he’s a 1950’s personality trapped in the body of a modern teenager. In a climactic scene, JT fights through his problem and comes back prepared to cope with the real world of today. Please come out and enjoy the show!
