Congratulations to Giancarlo Isotti and Caelie Flanagan on being chosen the Rotary Students of the Month for September and October, respectively.
Giancarlo Isotti
Giancarlo is the student representative from Suffield High School for the State Student Advisory Council on Education and the Suffield Board of Education. He is Treasurer of the National Honor Society and a member of the World Language Honor Society as well. Giancarlo is also part of Suffield High School Wildcat Advisory Group, A-Team and Unity Team. Recently, Giancarlo was chosen to receive the Farmington Valley Superintendent’s Award. Giancarlo is on our high school Golf Team and Basketball Team and is active in Student Council. He is also involved in community service for his church, Habitat for Humanity, Emergency Aid, and tutoring middle school students. After graduation, Giancarlo plans to attend a four-year college and is considering majoring in Political Sciences with the possibility of law school in the future.
Caelie Flanagan
Caelie is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the World Language Honor Society. Caelie is very active in the performing arts here at Suffield High School and beyond. She has been in multiple plays and musicals, and still finds time to participate in Suffield High School’s Concert Choir, Chamber Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band. Caelie has also worked for a local theater where she has been involved with five children’s theater shows and has been a member of the “Around Town Singers” for several years. Caelie also works on our “Morning Update” here at Suffield High as an anchor and a crew person. Caelie has been a student ambassador for both the START Leadership Conference as well as the Connecticut HOBY Seminar. She volunteers her time by helping out with our Unified Theater Program, teaches CCD to 2nd Graders, and is in the choir and a cantor at Sacred Heart Parish. Caelie plans to attend college and obtain a degree in Musical Theater.
