Zachary Delvaglio

Congratulations to Zachary Delvaglio who has been chosen as our Rotary Student of the Month for February.

Zach is a senior at Suffield High School and plans to attend a four-year college majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics. His goal is to obtain his MBA after college. Zach’s dream is to someday work on Wall Street as a stock analyst.

During his four years at Suffield High School, Zach has received honors such as the International Studies Award and the HOBY Youth Leadership Award. Zach is a member of our Varsity Golf Team and has received All-Conference Honors and the Coach’s Award in 2016, as well as being named a Scholar-Athlete. Zach is involved in many extracurricular activities at school such as our A-Team, Writing Center Coach, Math Team, Unified Basketball Participant and our National Honor Society. Zach is the Vice President of his class and has been a Student Senate representative for the last three years.

In his spare time, Zach enjoys golf, fishing, reading, playing the piano and finance/Wall Street. He works at the Suffield Country Club Golf Course and also tutors underclassmen in math, U.S. history and biology. Zach is also employed by a local restaurant as a waiter. Zach’s Guidance Counselor, Ned Sullivan, says that Zach is well liked and highly respected by peers and faculty alike. He states, “Zach is a goal-oriented and dedicated student who’s grown in self-confidence along the way. His easy-going and laid back manner belies an inner drive to seek excellence in all that he does.”

With all this said about Zachary Delvaglio, it is clear why he has been chosen as the Rotary Student of the Month.
