Dustin Doyon reported that he biked seven miles to a ferry, crossed a channel, biked another 12 miles, then hiked to the top of Mt. Nokogiri, in Honshu, Japan, for his photo with the Observer.Petty Officer 3rd Class Doyon is serving in the U.S. Navy on the destroyer USS John S. McCain.
Pictured in front of the old Temple Bar in Dublin, Wayne Keegan and his daughters, Elizabeth and Olivia, are enjoying their visit to Ireland. That’s Elizabeth holding the Observer.
Holly Banak chose a streetside spot in Madonna di Campiglio, to introduce the Observer to Alpine air during a group ski trip to northeast Italy in March. With Holly in front are Mary Deliso and Brian Banak. At the rear, from the left, are: Clement Deliso, Matt Coppolo, Bob Kelly and Kevin Banak.
The turtles and other unique beasts didn’t want to pose, so Luis and Heather Lee set up this Where-In-The-World photo with the Observer at the rail of their boat during a cruise in the Galopagos Islands at the end of April. Both are Observer volunteers.
Rob Nye and Chace Wessling and the Observer escaped Suffield’s March in Key West. They’re pictured at the southern most point of the continental United States.
