Photo provided by the Suffield Historical Society

In 1918 during the First World War, the student body at what was briefly called Suffield, a Military School for Boys, engages in rifle drill. Up on High Street in the background, from the left, are Fuller Hall, partially obscured by the gym, Memorial Hall, and the old Kent Memorial Library. The building at the far right is the Bissell cigar factory.
