New Playground Built at Sunrise Park

Pictured during construction in November, the interesting new playground at Sunrise Park faces the boat launch area at White’s Pond. The design is whimsically delightful, with interesting challenges for young kids. The curvy slide was installed soon after the photo, along with the picket fence. Benches and tables were planned, as well. The substantial cost was supported by grants from the state and Suffield Rotary. A spring opening was planned.
