Pedestrian Crosswalk Moved

Chalk lines show the new location of the pedestrian crosswalk on North Main Street. Workers from Safety Marking, Inc., are shown at the left grinding off the old crosswalk markings. As part of the DOT’s intersection improvement project here, this crosswalk and its buttons and signals were moved to shorten the crossing distance. The South Main Street and Bridge Street crossings were repainted but not moved.
