What is Rocky Railway VBS?
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun, daily event from 9-12 a.m. for kids ages 3-12 coming this July 11-15. At VBS, kids get to sing, snack, play, learn and experience God’s Word. This year, our VBS program is themed Rocky Railway, and each day we’ll explore the theme: Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through.
Each “depot” stop will reinforce the daily Bible point. Stations include:
Sing & Play Express, where kids get the opportunity to sing.
Loco Motion Games, where kids have fun playing games.
Imagination Station, where kids think, imagine, and explore, through crafts, activities and science experiments.
Chew Chew Snacks, where even the snacks are tasty reminders of the Bible verse.
Bible Time where the kids hear and act out the story for the day.
Registration: VBS costs $15 for the week per family and takes place at Second Baptist Church. But to climb aboard for mountains of fun at Rocky Railway, children must register. Send an email to office@secondbaptistsuffield.org or call 860-668-1661 to get a registration form.
