Sunday, October 16 is Accessibility Sunday! Our recent Capital Campaign “Lifting Up Our Community” gave us the ability to add an elevator to First Church, as well as ADA bathrooms and other updates. Due to the generous gifts given by many contributors, our church has become a fully accessible building. Join us as we will celebrate this achievement and the closing of our Capital Campaign during and after worship this Sunday.

Wed., October 19 our Women’s Fellowship hosts a Soy Candle-Making workshop at 6:30pm at First Church. All are welcome to join this fun event! Contact the church office to RSVP.

Sunday, October 23 is our Generosity Sunday, and October 30 we celebrate the Reformation and Bible Sunday. Kindergarten and third graders are welcome to receive an age-appropriate Bible on Bible Sunday. To sign your youngster up to receive a Bible contact the church office.

Mark your calendars for Christmas in Suffield, Saturday November 5. Locations across Suffield will be hosting vendors and events of all kinds as part of this fun-filled day. First Church will be hosting multiple craft vendors as well as our Attic Treasures thrift shop, Country Corner Kitchen, and more!

Our Blessing Box is located right in front of First Church on High St and is open to our neighbors and community members to “take what you need; leave what you can.” We encourage our community to donate what they can to the Blessing Box.

Church in-office hours are Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Questions, general inquiries or any needs should be directed to office@fcsuffield.org outside of office hours, or by leaving a message at 860-668-7223. Pastoral needs can be sent to senior@fcsuffield.org, or by leaving a voicemail with Rev. Diann through our automated phone system.

First Church hosts support groups in our building for their meetings, including Narcotics Anonymous, Families Anonymous, and Alcoholics Anonymous. It is highly encouraged to wear a mask while in First Church. Contact us for the full list of meeting information and for up-to-date building regulations.
