The Human Needs Ministry at Sacred Heart Church supplied Thanksgiving Baskets for fourteen families designated by Suffield Community Aid. Families were supplied with items for a holiday dinner as well as many other staples to help them through a few weeks. Grocery gift cards were included for fresh vegetables and perishables.
The Human Needs Ministry will be supplying the same number of families with Christmas baskets as well as gifts for each member of each family. Wish lists were posted so that parishioners could adopt a family member. Additionally, gifts will be purchased for senior members of our community, especially those who live alone. We thank our parishioners for their support and generous contributions to our efforts!
