Members of Sacred Heart Parish will find many activities for Advent and the Christmas season that will keep the true religious meaning of Christmas for the month of December.
The Human Needs Ministry at Sacred Heart Church supplied Thanksgiving Baskets for fourteen families designated by Suffield Community Aid.
ConfirmationTwenty members of the tenth grade CCD class will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at the Cathedral of St. Joseph on Oct 30.
Several activities will be resuming in the fall months at Sacred Heart Church.
When Father Joseph Keough first came to Suffield in the summer of 1994, he served as a deacon at Sacred Heart Church with Father Ted Raczynski as his mentor and Father Stephen Sledesky as assistant pastor.
For the 31st year in a row, the Glenn T. Packard Memorial Golf Tournament will take place at the Oak Ridge Golf Course in Agawam. The annual event sponsored by the Suffield Rotary Club is scheduled for Friday, August 12.
Although August 13 was a swelteringly 97 degree, hot and humid day, it did not spoil the 30th Annual Glenn T. Packard Memorial Golf Tournament sponsored by the Suffield Rotary at Oak Ridge Golf course in Agawam.
The Social Action/Human Needs Ministry of Sacred Heart Church has had to adjust some of its work because of the COVID-19 epidemic. The goal of the committee is to try to help those who are trying to help themselves and their families.
