Suffield’s Beauty brought to life by the art of Peggy MacKinnon
We are excited to announce that we are planning a special art exhibit at Kent Memorial Library of Peggy MacKinnon’s oil paintings. It is scheduled for the month of August in the gallery at the library.
We are pleased to note that we have approximately 15 framed oil paintings (Main Street, Suffield farms, etc.), that were displayed in Peggy’s home, for sale. We also have approximately 40 to 50 unfinished oil paintings (unframed) to sell. We would welcome donations of any of Peggy’s work from local residents for display only or for sale, if desired.
Please join us on Thursday, August 10, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. to honor and celebrate Peggy’s life. Her paintings will be on display the whole month of August for you to have the opportunity to view and/or purchase. But don’t wait to see them as I’m sure they will go fast.
We want to thank Fran Milliken and the Suffield Arts Council for their support of the exhibit. All proceeds from the art show will go to The Suffield Observer.
