The Polish Heritage Society is pleased to announce two events during Polish American Heritage Month. The first will be on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. at the Suffield Ambulance Center (205 Bridge Street.) We will show and discuss the PBS documentary “The Polish Americans,” a film that specifically addresses Polish Americans in New England. The second opportunity will be on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m. This meeting of our parent organization, the Suffield Historical Society, will be a presentation by Sara Zak about a fraternal organization composed of the early leaders of the Polish Community in Suffield.
The presentation will be repeated on Friday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. at Suffield by the River (SBTR.) Due to space considerations at SBTR, RSVP to Sara at suffieldpolams@gmail.com or 860-668-7194. These events will help us connect with our rich Polish heritage.
