Rotary Club of Suffield Sand and Salt Program for Seniors

The Rotary motto is Service above Self. Rotarians are involved in many projects in our community, and in the world.

One of those projects is our 9th Annual Sand Salt & Salt delivery. The Rotary Club of Suffield will once again be delivering five-gallon buckets of sand/salt mixture to seniors and disabled individuals and families residing in Suffield and West Suffield on December 7. This project was started by Rotarians Clark and Karen Mason.

This mixture can be used to spread on walkways and driveways during the winter to help keep these areas free of ice. Unfortunately, those individuals/families living in developments that already provide sand are not eligible.

Those interested in receiving a bucket, can sign up at the Suffield Senior Center or at the Suffield Community Aid by using the signup sheets that are posted there or contact Natalie Donais at 860-604-4956 or the preferred method: ndonais@snet.net. Pre-registration required by December 2. Delivery date expected to be December 7.
