104-year-old Fran Morway is all smiles on her birthday.
Beloved Suffield native Fran Morway recently celebrated a remarkable 104 years of life.
Fran Morway’s Suffield roots run deep. She was born February 1, 1922, in Suffield, where she was raised on her family’s farm with her five siblings. Fran attended Suffield Academy, where she was honored in 2024 as the school’s oldest living student.
More than a century later, she’s still proudly part of the same community she’s always called home. Now residing at Suffield by the River, Fran remains very active, attending exercise classes daily and walking the halls of the community in the winter. Fran notes that longevity runs in her family proudly sharing that her baby brother is 102.
