Another generous donor helps the cause at Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Chris Nikolas, right, staffed the booth set up outside Highland Park Market on a late September Saturday with the help of his twin daughters Maggie and Ariana and their brother James. They took in $890 that day, all for the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer. Alexandra Scott conceived the lemonade stand idea in Manchester at age 8 in 2004 to fight cancer and help its victims. Sadly, she lost her battle in 2008, but the foundation has raised over $1,000,000 so far. She was the niece of Suffield’s Sue Flynn.
