Local Farmer and Garden Club Team Up to Bring Cheer to Suffield House ResidentsFor many years, volunteers from the Suffield Garden Club have met with residents of local nursing homes and assisted living facilities to create colorful flower arrangements together. Volunteers help participants arrange flowers into fresh bouquets that they can bring back to their rooms or put on their dining tables. “This is one of our most popular programs,” commented Suffield House Director Scott Emmons. “Residents look forward to it all week long!”

Garden Club Awards Agriscience Students

On May 14, two deserving SHS AgriScience seniors were recognized by the Suffield Garden Club Memorial Fund committee for their dedication to conservation and environmental science.

Arbor Day Celebration

Since 1965 The Suffield Garden Club has sponsored a program on or about Arbor Day where-in each fourth grade student at McAlister School is given a tree to plant in their yard.

Bringing Winter Beauty to Your Home

On Monday, December 2, the Suffield Garden Club will host “Embracing Winter’s Beauty” with Willow and Moss owner Ahrayah Julian.
