Guided by the Connecticut Comprehensive School Counseling Framework, Suffield School Counselors promote academic, career and social/emotional development by collaborating with school staff, parents and the community to create a safe and respectful learning environment.

In early June, Suffield Public Schools Teacher of the Year Committee chose Danielle Bennett, fifth grade teacher at McAlister Intermediate School, as Suffield’s 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year.
For this summer, Spaulding Elementary and McAlister Intermediate Schools will be joining forces to participate in a “One Book One Community” read.
As the 192 graduating seniors made their way to the sports field for graduation ceremonies, you could sense their excitement.
