Each month, it has been interesting to look at what are considered to be the national days of food celebrations.
The name, crepe, comes from Old French ‘crespe’ which traces back to the Latin ‘crispa’ or ‘crispus’ which means curled.
It’s hard to imagine that cool weather is coming, but with that in mind, this month’s recipe celebrates the pumpkin. The mighty pumpkin is not a vegetable; it is actually a fruit.
With many celebrations such as Father’s Day, graduations and the Fourth of July in June and July, this month’s recipe is an easy one to make and serve at gatherings.
