The Suffield Winter Farmers Market’s last event for the season will be February 8 and we are teaming up again with the Agriscience program.
This Winter Market will be held indoors at the Large Animal Facility (LAF) in the northeast corner of the high school parking lot (behind the green house) at 1060 Sheldon Street in West Suffield. This means shoppers and vendors can do business in a great area with easy access and parking.
The Suffield Winter Farmer’s Market “December Holiday Edition” is teaming up again with the Agriscience program, making local produce and craft items available for the holidays. Suffield’s Farmers Market begins its 2019 summer season on Saturday, June 22. We have a number of familiar vendors who return each year to provide a wide assortment of locally grown fresh fruits, produce and hand crafted products.
The Suffield Agriscience Center is hosting the final Suffield Winter Farmers Market of the season on Saturday, February 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Large Animal Facility. The Farmers Market vendors will have an array of items including vegetables, apples, eggs, baked goods, jams and preserves, soaps, jewelry, plants, winter wear.
The Market will carry on every Saturday 9 a.m. until noon through October 7 with the exception of September 8 when they make way for the Suffield on the Green festivities.
The Suffield Farmers Market is up and running for the summer months with vendors offering their wares every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until noon, rain or shine, in the center of town on the south green (across from the barber shop). If you didn’t make your way to the Market in June, you still have July, August and September to experience Suffield’s Saturday morning “get together”.

Architectural historian Rachel Carley will present an illustrated talk on Suffield’s rich history in buildings on May 15 at 7 p.m. at the Suffield Senior Center, 145 Bridge St. Under the auspices of the Town of Suffield, Ms. Carley has recently completed a study of historic resources in the second phase of a town-wide effort to document significant sites.
