Spring has sprung, so it’s time for the annual tag sale run by the West Suffield Village Improvement Assn. on April 6 from 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. at Academy Hall (1499 Mountain Road).

Spring has sprung, so it’s time for the annual tag sale run by the West Suffield Village Improvement Assn. on April 6 from 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. at Academy Hall (1499 Mountain Road).
The Suffield Historical Society invites local area residents to present a short talk on any aspect of local history.
If you have life experiences, hobbies or collections to share, call Ed Chase at 860 668-2962 to sign up. Presentations will take place at the Suffield Senior Center on Wednesday, March 20 at 7 p.m.

The West Suffield Village Improvement Association will hold its annual spring tag sale on Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m.- to 2 p.m. at Academy Hall (1499 Mountain Road).
Donations may be dropped off at Academy Hall from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 30, Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5.
We accept anything except clothing. For more information on the West Suffield Village Association tag sale, please call Anne Borg at 860 668-7841.
The annual ice harvest sponsored by the Historical Society, Suffield Land Conservancy and the Noble & Cooley Museum will take place at the Mill Pond on Water Street in Granville on Saturday, February 2 from noon to 3 p.m. (providing there is ice). Storm date is February 3.
Art Sikes will hold a workshop at the Suffield Senior Center on Wednesday, February 20 at 7 p.m. He will explain what resources are available, review work that has been done dating old homes and look into how you can find additional information about our old homes and the people who lived in them.
The Snowman Exhibit will be held at the King House Museum on Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. Refreshments will be served in front of the fire.
The annual Silver Tea will be held at West Suffield’s Academy Hall (1499 Mountain Road) on Saturday, December 1 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Suffield Historical Society will meet on Wednesday, November 14 at the Suffield Senior Center at 7 p.m.
Holidayfest at the King House Museum takes place on Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our theme this year is “Snowmen.”
Members are invited to come in costume to the King House Museum porch to help distribute goodies on Halloween.
