Anne Barberi waves happily at friends in the parade for her 100th birthday on June 13. A balloon-decorated tractor led the big parade past her house on Hale Street, with police cars, four ambulances, the SFD tower truck, and about 20 private cars.
The Town of Suffield announces plans to postpone in-person anniversary celebrations for 2020 until Columbus Day Weekend 2021. This includes the 350th Parade.

I visited Sunrise Park three months after retiring as the park superintendent. I noticed that behind the house and barn, all the shrubs and bushes were removed. My first response was “WOW, how nice this looks.”
