Rabbits are cute critters but they certainly can, and frequently do, create havoc in a garden. A gardener may need to be proactive in deterring these small mammals from gnawing on tender and not-so-tender plants.
Summertime Blues
According to the knowledgeable experts at Birds & Blooms, in a 2015 poll more than one-third of people surveyed around the world chose blue flowers as their favorite. Yellows, pinks and oranges bloom everywhere you look, but regal blue blossoms aren’t quite so prevalent.
Container plantings are a wonderful way to display flowers and greenery which adds curb appeal and charm to a home. I love to see classic window boxes brimming with vigorous florals.
