The Suffield Arts Council announces that the Pinney Gallery of the Kent Memorial Library in Suffield will be the site for the Tobacco Valley Artists Association (TVAA) Fall Member Show. The show opens November 2 and closes November 30.

The Observer advised its readers that the Enfield-Suffield Veterans bridge maintenance and repair project, which has been underway, slowly, for quite a while, and did indeed experience a work stoppage in mid-summer (out of respect for a new falcon brood in the structure) was still on schedule to be completed by the end of November. That still appears to be the situation.
After a half-year delay, Suffield’s newest business opened quietly on October 5 in the lower level of the Webster Bank building, and its impressive facilities have been in place for longer than that.
I call it procrastination month as everything I had planned on doing since the migratory birds arrived in April I have put off to November.
