As chairman of the Suffield Conservation Commission since 1988 and an active member since 1975, one of our main duties has been to oversee the day-to-day operations of Stony Brooke and Sunrise Parks.

In light of recent events taking place across our nation, a number of courageous residents opened up to me to share their experiences about what it’s like to be a person of color and live, work and raise families in the Town of Suffield.
Staff has been working inside our locked door since the pandemic began. We have used the time to familiarize ourselves with programs and resources to help our residents who have been impacted by COVID-19.
On July 4 and 5, Sacred Heart resumed weekend Masses on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8, 9:30, and 11 a.m. Baptisms and funerals can also be scheduled.
