Things really quiet down right after Labor Day here on Congamond.
I had done a fair amount of genealogical research before someone mentioned to me that there were some old family letters with a cousin living in Williamstown, Mass.

The Suffield Historical Society will host guest speaker Bob Madison on Wednesday, October 18, 7 p.m. at the Senior Center.
In October, the Polish Heritage Society will not hold its usual first Wednesday meeting at 10 a.m.
Sometimes, I wear a shirt with “Sh-h-h-h” written on it. It gets a smirk or two when people realize I am a librarian.
